#111 Ancestral Medicine & Herbalism with Raven Rose

Hey everyone,

I’m happy to send a conversation with the wonderful Ravel Rose your way – I really loved talking to her and being reminded how important it is to take my time and listen to my body. Enjoy!

I would also like to invite you to a free grief tending session on July 31st – this is going to be a gentle way to meet up online and reflect on this past year with some journaling, meditation and ritual: https://landing.mailerlite.com/webforms/landing/x8m2e7

If you’re a small business person you’re also really welcome to join my free virtual summer retreat – a whole weekend of business dreaming, inspiring workshops and the chance to meet like minded people: https://yarrowdigital.com/summer-retreat/

Here is some of the magic Raven and I talked about for this interview:

  • Shedding shame about our bodies
  • Finding gateway plant friends
  • Working with dreams as a way to navigate life
  • How food can impact all aspects of our being

Visionary and medicine woman Raven Rose, was called to her path while in search of natural remedies to overcome her debilitating menstrual pain. On that quest she became a menstrual health herbalist, Kambo practitioner, and revived many of her ancestral medicines. In her practice Moon Medicine, Raven helps others restore balance to their menstrual cycles, through embracing a cyclical lifestyle, traditional healing practices, and restoring ancestral wisdom.

Hi, I’m Yarrow and this is my local river.

I’m a maker, grief companion and tarot reader living on the East coast of Scotland.

I facilitate creative projects and gentle rituals for seasons of loss, make handmade textile magic and host the Grief Glimmers podcast. My wish is to change the culture around grief and death so that we can explore these experiences as gateways into a softer, more embodied life.
